We designed three simple Montessori shelves, which can be placed individually in your playroom or combined to get a more significant storage area. They are open shelves, meaning that we designed them to maximize the natural light that emphasizes the learning materials and provide excellent visibility and access.

Our Montessori furniture is minimalistic and matches any playroom decor or any other room in your home when they are eventually outgrown. It is entirely made from solid wood. The shelves are made from spruce, a beautiful, durable, yet light material. The legs are made from cherry, a wood acclaimed for the beauty of its grain and red-brown color. We oil every piece with pure linseed oil, which protects and enhances the wooden fiber.

There are no screws, nuts, bolts, or other loose parts. Because our woodworking technique is traditional, the assembly is done using only wooden dowels and strong water-based wood glue. All Montessori shelves come with a free Wall Anchoring Kit. Please consult a specialist when anchoring this playroom furniture to the wall.

Sizes guide:

- All bottom shelves rise 20 cm (approx. 7.85") from the ground, and the distance to the upper levels is 30 cm (approx. 11.8");
- All shelves are 30 cm (approx. 11.8") in depth.
- For the 100 & 75 shelving unit: the bottom shelf is 100 cm (approx. 39") long while the upper one is 75 cm (29.5") in length;
- For the double 100 shelving unit, both shelves are 100 cm (approx. 39") long;
- For the 100-75-50 shelving unit: the bottom shelf is 100 cm (approx. 39") long, the middle one is 75 cm (29.5") long, and the upper one is 50 cm (approx. 19.5") in length.

Care Instructions

Gently clean the toy using only a clean, moist cloth. Please, do not use disinfectants or hot water. Allow to dry at room temperature.

Processing & Delivery

Normally, we process each order in between 1 and 3 working days.

But, orders for the following toys take around 5 days processing time, so we thank you for your patience:

- Piklers and rockers;

- The Farm House dollhouse;

- The Sunken Ship Dollhouse  

After processing, we ship with FedEx Express or with DPD Express in Europe. The delivery time in Europe is usually 3-4 business days, to the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong 5 business days, and Australia and New Zealand 5 - 7 business days.

What you need to know about our toys

All products are handmade.

Our toys are inspired by the natural environment and influenced by the Waldorf or Montessori pedagogies.

The wood we use comes from sustainable forestry holdings.

All our colors and oils are certified according to EN 71 and CPSIA/ASTM 963 toy safety standards.

We care about our planet. We pack our toys in simple cardboard boxes or jute pouches that can be recycled or reused.

Knots, patterns, and rich grain colors are part of the natural beauty of wood and are not faults. Larger toys (rainbow stackers, for instance) are cut from a single block of wood, and you'll often see the same features continuing through the various pieces. These unique variations are proof of quality, not defects.
