These wooden farm animals are a must-have if you love painting projects at home. We take each animal figure through all production fazes except for the last stages of painting so that you can enjoy a friendly educational activity at home.

Children are naturally very creative, and this activity is for all ages. Preschoolers can start with simple animals to familiarize themselves with painting on wood and then work their way up to other animals.

We handmake each Waldorf wooden toy in our Romanian workshop. The inspiration for these wooden toys comes from some of the most recognizable farm animals. Every handmade wooden toy you order is smoothly sanded and prepared for the painting process. You may use water-based colors or oils and pigments.

Sizes vary. The rooster is the smallest figurine (1.77" long x 2.16" high x 0.78" thick (4.5 x 5.5 x 2 cm), while the horse is the largest (5.5" long x 5.5" high x 1" thick (14 x 14 x 2.5 cm).

Care Instructions

Gently clean the toy using only a clean, moist cloth. Please, do not use disinfectants or hot water. Allow to dry at room temperature.

Processing & Delivery

Normally, we process each order in between 1 and 3 working days.

But, orders for the following toys take around 5 days processing time, so we thank you for your patience:

What you need to know about our toys

All products are handmade.

Our toys are inspired by the natural environment and influenced by the Waldorf or Montessori pedagogies.

The wood we use comes from sustainable forestry holdings.

All our colors and oils are certified according to EN 71 and CPSIA/ASTM 963 toy safety standards.

We care about our planet. We pack our toys in simple cardboard boxes or jute pouches that can be recycled or reused.

Knots, patterns, and rich grain colors are part of the natural beauty of wood and are not faults. Larger toys (rainbow stackers, for instance) are cut from a single block of wood, and you'll often see the same features continuing through the various pieces. These unique variations are proof of quality, not defects.
